Fall Foliage Walk (or Run!)

Fall in Prospect Park is a magical season as the park lights up in a stunning display of red, orange, and yellow foliage. Park lovers are encouraged to enjoy this colorful season by way of strolling through its lush meadows and expansive forest.

In preparation for fall, the Alliance suggests some of their favorite routes through Prospect Park to check out the stunning fall foliage. Discover today.

NYRR Group Training (October 30-December 20)

Fall is the perfect time to join NYRR in Prospect Park for Group Training. Geared toward runners of all ages and abilities, from newcomers to experienced competitive racers, these workouts offer coaching, camaraderie, and the inspiration that comes from running with others. Whether your goal is to run your first race or to set a personal best, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere that encourages you to pursue your goals and have fun.

On October 27, Prospect Park Alliance invites all local ghosts and ghouls to the 39th Annual Halloween Haunted Walk and Fair! This beloved event brings thousands of families for free, ghastly fun to Prospect Park.

Encounter Halloween spirits on a haunted walk up Lookout Hill, then enjoy family-friendly activities and treats at the Halloween Fair. The festivities continue at BKLYN BOO!, the official after party, taking place at City Point in downtown Brooklyn! Learn more and RSVP!

Ice Skating at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside

Dust off your skates as the ice skating season at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside is quickly approaching! Come with friends for freestyle laps around the two rinks, or sign up for Skate School and learn the fundamentals of skating. Also try out hockey, broomball and curling!

Plus, Prospect Park Alliance members at the Supporter level or above can take advantage of Member Wednesdays and skate for free.

NYRR Jingle Bell Jog 5K

This festive family favorite 5K takes place on Saturday, December 1 is more than just a road race, it's also a celebration and a fundraiser for NYRR's youth programs. Not only does your entry fee snag you a holiday souvenir and post-race hot chocolate, the proceeds from this race fund youth running programs in schools all over the city.
